Note: Pursuant to sections 90A(4) and 90(3)(d), (e) and (j) of the Local Government Act 1999 (SA) the CEO has ordered the briefing session being held on Tuesday, 19 July 2022 to receive information from SAPOL on CCTV and Facial Recognition Technology, be closed to the public on the basis that the information to be discussed in part relates to the commercial operations of SAPOL [section 90(3)(d)], security and safety of any person [section 90(3)(e)] and the information has been provided on a confidential basis by a public authority [section 90(3)j)] . The receipt, consideration and discussion of the information open to the public would, on balance, be contrary to the public interest because SAPOL are continuing discussions/negotiations with their suppliers and these contract negotiations may be materially and adversely affected.
